由于信用证本身所固有的缺陷以及与制度的不完善使得信用证欺诈屡禁不止,严重的影响了国际贸易秩序。但信用证能在国际贸易中占有一席之地,则表明它确实存在着不少先进之处,我们不能(因为害怕欺诈而终止信用证的使用) 。在加入WTO后,我国的对外贸易越来越多,因此必须在提高自身水平的同时时刻保持警惕。以求将信用证的风险降至最低,尽可能地去识破和防范信用证欺诈,充分发挥信用证的优越性。

The L/C fraud crime is hard to be prevented because of the inherent defects of L/C and the imperfection of system, and it's effecting the order of international trade. But the L/C has a share in the international trade provides enough proofs that there is still advance character of L/C, that means we can not abandon L/C for the risk of being fraud. The international trade is becoming more and more often since we join in WTO. So that means we should stay alert while we improving ourself. Therefore we can lower the risk of using L/C and keep an eye on the L/C fraud, give full play to the superiority of the L/C.
