That's why I need to set up the Cost Master when a project confirmed to go.
We submitted dozen quotes as per few options.Clients will adjust the content due to many reasons and even myself sometimes don't know what is the final opitons.Like this projects,I quote the unit price of with film and without film to Genus then he will adjust accordingly until RD Sales and Design OK the price and product.
Each SV submitted quote involve several parties :Engg,Costing,Purchasing and Marketing.So you can imagine how complicate the matrix could be.
Let's me repeat again,for every new project :
I(marketing) will work out the Preliminary Cost Sheet with YY and Tam.Then I will sign the copy to be kept by Ellen.YY and Tam will generate the Cost Master,which is exactly the same with Preliminary Cost Sheet but without price,to all related departements(In fact,I have asked but no one confirm back to me need this Cost Master or not).Therefore this Cost Master is the base data for the project started with.Whenever there is change thereafter,Engg and Costing will update the cost impact so we can make necessary action to revise quote to client(if change due to client) or any other action.
This is for Discovery Pack.
